What is a GAF QuickMeasure?

GAF QuickMeasure is a service offered by GAF that provides fast and accurate roof measurements using aerial imagery.

Navigate to the Integrations Page

  1. Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner.

  2. Select Integrations from the dropdown.

  3. On the Integrations page, click the GAF QuickMeasure logo to begin configuration.

Step 1: Configure Integration

Once on the integration configuration page:

Understand the Field Mapping

  • You will see a list of measurements titles and drop downs next to each title

    • The titles are GAF QuickMeasure report fields (left side of drop down) that need to be matched to your ProLine Measurement Report Fields.

    • The drop down list are the Measurement Report Fields you have configured within your company settings.

  • Each GAF QuickMeasure report field needs to be mapped to a ProLine Measurement Report Field.

  • Some fields will match name-wise and can be mapped one-to-one

    • If there are items missing from the dropdown menu, follow the training guide here to add new measurement fields within your settings.

Example Mappings

Here are a few typical one-to-one mappings you may want to set:

  • Area → Total Area (SF)

  • Length Eave → Eaves (LF)

  • Length Hip → Hips (LF)

  • Length Rake → Rakes (LF)

  • Length Ridge → Ridges (LF)

  • Length Valley → Valleys (LF)

  • Waste Factor → Waste Factor (%)

Note: Leave fields unmapped if they are not relevant or unavailable, or go to the link above to create new fields and map them.

Step 2: Enable the Integration

  1. Once all fields are mapped, click Enable Integration.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your GAF QuickMeasure account.

  3. The integration will now activate.

Step 3: Limit Report Types (Optional)

After enabling, you’ll see a section for Available Report Types. These determine which QuickMeasure reports can be ordered within ProLine.

  • Select the report types you want to make available to users for ordering within a project.

Using QuickMeasure in a Project

To place an order or import a report:

  1. Open a project in ProLine and click on Project Details

  2. Navigate to the Measurement tab.

  3. Click the GAF logo to start an order.

  4. Choose whether to import an existing report or place a new order.

  5. If placing a new order:

    • Select the report type.

    • Add any additional instructions.

    • Submit the request for the chosen property.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After a measurement has been requested through ProLine, it can only be cancelled within the customers personal GAF account.
