What is Auto Respond To Missed Calls feature?

This feature allows you to automatically send a text message to any contact when you miss their call. Its main purpose is to help you stay engaged with potential clients or contacts by instantly acknowledging their call, even if you’re unavailable.

Please note that this is set at the user level, NOT the company level. If you want this to be a requirement for all users, managers/admin will need to ensure they communicate to all users to ensure this is set up.

Setting up the Auto-Response Feature

To begin setting up your auto-response, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner of the app.

  2. Scroll down and select Account Settings.

  3. Tap on the Phone tab to access your call configurations.

  4. In the middle of the settings, you’ll see Auto Respond to Missed Calls

  5. Select the checkbox to enable the feature.

  6. You can now set your message to say whatever you’d like, here is an example:

    • “Hey, sorry I missed your call. When would be the next best time to give you a shout-back?”

  7. Click Save

Why Use This Feature?

Even the most attentive users occasionally miss calls, whether due to a meeting, driving, or momentary distraction. This feature allows for:

  • Immediate Engagement: Keeps the conversation going, even in your absence.

  • Professional Image: Demonstrates responsiveness and attention to customer needs.

Important: In this training video, the Your Device Number field is not shown. However, if you are using Classic, Hybrid, or Direct Mode in your account, it is essential that this field is filled in with the phone number of the main device where you have ProLine installed. This ensures that all calls to your ProLine number are forwarded correctly to your device, allowing you to answer them without issues.
