ProCanvas is ProLine’s native canvassing tool designed to streamline door-to-door lead generation and territory tracking. It allows you to digitally log, categorize, and track all canvassing activity in a centralized map-based interface—without needing any third-party integrations.
Accessing ProCanvas
To get started:
Click the hamburger menu in the top left corner of your screen.
Scroll down and select ProCanvas.
This will launch a new tab showing your current GPS location on a map.
You can toggle between:
Map View – Basic street map layout.
Satellite View – A detailed aerial layout of streets and properties.
You may also enter an address manually in the search bar or zoom in/out using the +/- buttons to navigate your location.
Dropping a Pin
To drop a pin:
Hover your cursor over a specific location.
Tap the pin icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
A confirmation prompt will appear
Click Confirm Position or Cancel.
You can also manually adjust the pin before confirming by dragging it into the correct location.
Recording the Outcome
Once you confirm a pin:
A pop-up appears on the right side of your screen displaying the address.
You will be required to select an outcome from the selection that you have created within your Company Settings.
Examples:
If the Outcome is "Not Interested":
You will be prompted to select a Reject Reason (e.g., “No Soliciting”).
A red pin will appear on the map for rejected properties.
If the Outcome is "Interested":
You’ll see a project intake form where you can enter contact and project details to start a new project in ProLine. The information you can collect here is the following:
First & Last Name
Phone Number
Address
Project Name
Project Type/Category
Assigned Sales Rep
Notes
You can also schedule an event directly from this screen, such as a follow-up inspection. ****Scroll to the Schedule Event section at the bottom of the project pop-up:
Select the event type and calendar.
Choose a date from the calendar.
Available time slots will populate based on the selected calendar.
Select the time and hit Save.
This event is now added to the appropriate calendar and contact timeline.
Managing and Reviewing Pins
You can revisit and manage dropped pins at any time. Click on a pin to open its pop-up panel, where you’ll find:
Actions Tab
New Knock – Add a new attempt (useful for properties with multiple visits).
Move Pin – Adjust the location of the pin if it was dropped inaccurately.
New Project – Add a new project if a new opportunity arises.
Info Tab
Edit Address Details (as needed).
Add Internal Notes (“Rental Property” or “Contact Property Manager”).
Delete Pin
Remove the pin entirely after saving your notes.
History Tab
The History tab displays a chronological record of all activity or status updates associated with a pin. Each entry includes:
Status or Action Taken — For example, “Interested” or “No Answer.”
Date and Time — When the pin update was recorded.
User — The team member who performed or logged the action.
Visual Tracking & Strategy
As you zoom out on the map, you’ll see a color-coded view of all canvassing activity:
Green Pins = Interested
Red Pins = Not Interested
Yellow/Gray = Other statuses like No Answer or Callback
This helps your team identify:
High-opportunity neighborhoods (lots of green)
Low-return zones (mostly red or gray)
Areas needing additional follow-up
Notes on Customization
The color-coding, outcome types, and reject reasons are all configurable under Company Settings -> ProCanvas. This includes:
Default Outcomes (e.g., Interested, No Answer)
Reject Reasons (e.g., No Damage, Too Expensive)
Admins can add, edit, or restore outcome/reject options at any time to align with your canvassing strategy.
Final Reminders
All canvassing actions are logged in real-time and accessible from within ProLine.
There is no specific reporting dashboard for the ProCanvas tool, you can however use the marketing dashboard to view the marketing metrics for the canvassing lead source.
