Default Outcomes
Default Outcomes define the result of a canvassing attempt and determine how each contact is categorized and followed up on. This section controls the titles and behavior of the pins dropped on the canvassing map.
How They Work
Changes to names and colors are retroactive and will update all previously created pins.
Changes to the type (Interested vs. Rejected) are not retroactive and will only apply to new pins going forward.
Default Outcomes Provided:
By default, ProLine includes these four outcomes:
Interested
No Answer
Callback
Not Interested
You can add new outcomes as needed, but keeping them simple/direct is best practice.
Creating a New Outcome
To add a new outcome:
Click the Add Outcome button.
Title the outcome (“Follow-Up Needed”).
Select the Type:
Pre-Contact – The rep has not spoken to the homeowner yet.
Rejected – The homeowner declined interest.
Interested – The homeowner expressed interest.
When selecting interested as the outcome type, you’ll be prompted to define project defaults:
Default Stage – Choose the project pipeline stage this outcome should start in.
Default Tags – Apply automatic tags to the project.
Default Campaign – Assign a communication campaign to the project’s main contact.
Default Lead Source – Typically “Canvassing,” but you can choose any lead source already set up in your Company Settings.
Pick a Color to visually distinguish this outcome on the map.
Click Create.
Reject Reasons
Reject Reasons allow your team to log why a homeowner was not interested. This creates powerful visibility into trends across canvassing zones.
How They Work
Name and color changes are retroactive and will reflect across all pins.
Other edits (e.g., adding/removing) are not retroactive.
Default Reject Reasons Provided:
No Damage
Too Much Money
No Soliciting
Other
You can add, edit, or delete reject reasons at any time.
Deleting a Reject Reason
If you choose to delete a reason:
Click the trash can icon.
You’ll be prompted to type the name of the reason to confirm.
This performs a soft delete, meaning the reason won’t be available for future use but still appears in historical records.
You can restore deleted reasons by clicking the "Show Deleted Reasons" toggle and clicking the restore icon next to the item.
