Purpose of the Map Report

At its core, the Map Report serves a single but important function: To visualize the geographic groupings of your projects within your service area.

This bird’s-eye view allows users to:

  • Identify outliers or unusually located projects.

  • Find hotspots such as neighborhoods or zones where project performance is particularly strong.

Filtering and Customization

To make this report more actionable, ProLine provides several filtering capabilities. These filters help tailor the map to your current analytical needs, whether you’re investigating a recent marketing push or evaluating service coverage in a specific area.

Available Filters Include

  • Locations: Searching all projects that are associated with a location within ProLine

  • Categories: e.g. Commercial, Residential, Property Management.

  • Types: e.g. Retail, Insurance

  • Services: e.g. Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Windows

  • Tags: Include or exclude projects based on custom labels.

  • Lead Sources: Choosing to view which sources you want to see

  • Team Members: View projects only assigned to specific team members.

  • Zip Codes: Narrow the view to particular postal areas.

  • Time Periods: Focus on projects within a defined date range.

  • Areas: Include or exclude specific areas that are assigned to projects.

  • Start & End Dates: date range that is auto set to one-year range.

  • Pin Types: leads, in-production, or completed projects.

Visual Insights and Strategic Questions

Once filtered, the Map Report allows you to view insights by viewing project pins on the map. Questions you might have when reviewing the data:

  • Where are we performing best?

(High project density with successful outcomes)

  • Where is there underperformance?

    (Low activity)

  • Where do opportunities exist?

(Gaps in service or clusters of new leads)

This visual representation often reveals patterns and opportunities that are not obvious through traditional lists or tables.

Use Cases for the Map Report

  • Sales & Marketing Teams can identify neighborhoods with high lead conversion and double down on those areas.

  • Operations Managers and Production Leads can assess how work is distributed geographically to ensure balanced coverage.

  • Admins can view performance at a glance across regions for better strategic planning.
