Dashboard: Leaderboard

This guide will walk you through its structure, features, user access levels, and administrative controls.

Overview

The Sales Leaderboard is divided into two main components:

  1. User Scorecard – Highlights the performance metrics of the currently logged-in sales rep. If you are an admin, you can select any team member to view their individual scorecard.

  2. Leaderboard – Displays a ranked list of all sales reps based on key performance metrics.

Users can navigate between two main tabs: Performance and Commission, each offering distinct insights. Both tabs include Sort By, Start Date, and End Date filters to refine the data shown.

Performance Tab

The Performance tab focuses on gamification and productivity tracking. The leaderboard and scorecard display the following metrics:

  • Inspections – the number of inspections completed.

  • Sold Jobs – the number of jobs sold.

  • Contract Value – the total value of contracts for sold jobs.

  • Close Rate – the percentage of opportunities converted into sold jobs.

User Access Differences

  • Admins see full metrics for all team members.

  • Regular Sales Reps can view their own full scorecard, plus limited peer metrics: Inspections, Sold Jobs, and Close Rate. Contract Value is hidden for peers to respect financial confidentiality.

Commission Tab

The Commission tab is designed for financial performance tracking. It displays the following metrics for each sales rep:

  • Paid & Closed – the number of jobs that have been paid and closed within the selected date range.

  • Contract Value – the total value of contracts for closed jobs.

  • Actual Revenue – the actual revenue collected.

  • Commission – the total commission amount earned by the rep.

  • Paid Commission – the amount of commission that has already been paid out. Click the ≡ icon next to any amount to open the full Commission Report, which shows a breakdown of Earned Commission, amount Marked as Paid, and the remaining Balance.

Individual sales reps can only view their own commission data. Admins have full visibility across the entire team.

Paid Commission

Paid Commission allows admins to record and track commission payments made to sales reps directly from the project level. Once recorded, the amount reflects immediately on the leaderboard.

To record a commission payment:

  1. Open a closed project that has a commission assigned to it.

  2. In the right panel, click the Budget tab.

  3. Scroll to the Commission section within the Project Analysis panel.

  4. Click the expand arrow (▶) on the right side of the Commission row to reveal its details.

  5. Click the + button next to the Commission Paid row.

  6. In the Record Commission pop-up, enter the payment amount. Use a negative number to reverse a payment.

  7. Click Save.

The Paid Commission column on the leaderboard will update automatically for that rep. To view the full breakdown, click the ≡ icon — the Commission Report will display:

  • Earned Commission – total commission generated by the rep.

  • Marked as Paid – the total amount already paid out.

  • Balance – the remaining commission amount still owed.

💡Heads up: The Commission tab only counts projects whose stage has a Closed status (meaning all work and financial steps are finalized). For a full breakdown of stage statuses, see Company Settings: Projects – Stages.

Team Management Settings

Admins can manage leaderboard visibility and team composition through the Manage Team interface:

  • Permission Profiles – Remove specific roles (such as office managers) from appearing on the leaderboard entirely.

  • Visibility – Toggle whether an individual team member is included in leaderboard statistics.

This ensures only relevant team members are tracked, keeping the leaderboard accurate and meaningful.

Permissions and Access Control

Access to leaderboard data is controlled through permission profiles:

  • Admins have full access to all data, including commissions, paid commissions, and contract values.

  • Managers and Accountants can be granted extended permissions to view specific data points such as commissions or contract values, depending on their role.

This allows organizations to maintain data privacy while giving the right people the insights they need.
