Voting and Engaging With Ideas
ProLine’s voting model keeps feedback meaningful:
You can upvote any idea once.
You can remove your upvote, which counts as a downvote, but you cannot downvote ideas you simply dislike.
You can comment on ideas to add context or share use cases.
You may upload images or attachments to provide additional clarity.
Supporting existing ideas with a vote is always recommended before submitting a new one.
Submitting a New Idea
If no existing idea matches what you need:
Click Submit an Idea.
Enter a short one-sentence summary of your feature request.
Add a detailed explanation including:
What the idea is
Why you need it
How it would be used
What problem or friction it solves
Tag the appropriate topics to help categorize your submission.
Pro Tip:
Searching the Ideas Board first is the best way to avoid duplicates and ensure your vote counts toward the most relevant suggestion.
What Happens After You Submit an Idea
All ideas go through a manual review by the Product Team:
Ideas are not automatically approved.
Submissions are checked for duplicates, clarity, and feasibility.
The team may:
Approve the idea
Request clarification
Merge it with an existing idea
Decline if already implemented
There is no set approval timeline. Ideas are prioritized based on:
Number of upvotes
Comments and user feedback
Overall impact on customers
Internal feasibility
How Ideas Are Prioritized
ProLine evaluates ideas using several criteria:
Reach: how many users this affects
Impact: how much it improves workflow
Effort: how long it will take to design and build
Ideas fall into categories such as:
Usability improvements
Enhancements to existing features
Brand-new features
Multiple related ideas may be grouped into a larger release.
Tracking Development
Approved ideas move into one of two visible statuses:
In Development: actively being built
Live: fully released
You can filter by these statuses or switch to Roadmap View to see a Kanban-style visual of progress.
Announcements and Product Updates
The Announcements section mirrors in-app product updates, showing:
Newly released features
Improvements
Bug fixes
Adjustments
Larger roadmap items
Users can subscribe to receive notifications as updates roll out.
Stay Updated on Your Ideas
Whenever the status of an idea you submitted or voted on changes, you will automatically receive a notification.
Final Thoughts: Your Voice Matters
ProLine’s product direction is heavily influenced by user input. The best ideas:
Are clearly written
Describe a real problem
Include use cases
Receive community support
Your insights help us prioritize the improvements that matter most to your workflow.
