Accessing Quote Templates
Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the top left corner of your ProLine account.
Scroll down and select "Company Settings"
A new window will appear in your browser
Select the "Quote Templates" tab on the left side of the screen.
1. Overview of Detailed Pricing Templates
Detailed pricing templates in ProLine are designed to calculate and present accurate material and labor quantities using structured logic and automation.
When used with a measurement report and price list, these templates can auto-populate pricing per line item, delivering a detailed and transparent quote.
2. Multi-Option Template: Good/Better/Best Configuration
Structure and Functionality
The Multi-Option Detailed Pricing Template supports multiple product/service options, such as Good, Better, and Best.
It uses a Structure Page that includes items consistent across all options.
Think of all items that are the same regardless of the package/option; roofing might include nails, caulk, plywood/OSB, and drip edge metal.

Each Option Sub-Page (Shingle Good, Shingle Better, Shingle Best) displays unique items or variations specific to that tier.
It can be a singular item/product or multiple items.
It references calculations and sub-calculations to determine the following:
Material and labor quantities
Line item pricing
Overall costs based on the input data
Customization
You can rename option pages (“Basic”, “Premium”, “Excellent”) and add as many tiers as needed.
Supports unlimited line items, which can include:
Materials
Labor
Custom cost categories (defined at the company level)
Add-on pages are also available, enabling upsells or optional services with line-item detail.

3. Single Option Template: Streamlined Quoting
Structure and Functionality
The Single Option Detailed Pricing Template is intended for one-option quotes.
Unlike the multi-option version, it does not use a structure page and is limited to one structure and add-ons.
While it still utilizes detailed line items and calculation logic, it doesn’t support the following:
Multiple measurement structures
Multiple tiered options within the same quote
Customization
Like the multi-option template, this version supports:
Full item-level and quote pages customization
Integration with measurement reports and price lists
Real-time calculation of quantities and costs
