Who can export data from the Data Manager?

Only users with Owner or Admin permissions will be able to see and use the Export CSV button in the Projects, Orgs, Contacts and Jobs tab.

Standard users or team members will not see the button.

This is an intentional safeguard to prevent unauthorized access/mass exports of business data.

Go to the hamburger menu → Data Manager → Select the tab you wish to export from.

Apply filters if you'd like to export a specific subset of items.

- You can also leave filters blank to export all visible items within that tab (up to 10,000).

Click the Export CSV button (visible only to Admins and Owners).

A popup will appear with important details:

- "This action will export the [selected tab] data with selected filters to CSV."
- "This can take up to 10 minutes and is limited to 10,000 [selected tab ] items per export.”

Click Export to begin the process.

The exported file will be emailed to the email address associated with your logged-in ProLine account.

The email field will appear bolded and listed explicitly in the export confirmation modal.

If you are an Admin (not the Owner), the system will also send a copy to the account Owner for full transparency.

⚠️ This ensures that the Owner is always aware of any mass data exports being performed in the system.

Exports can take up to 10 minutes depending on the size and filters applied.

The CSV format is currently the only available export option.

There is no direct way to export to Excel, Google Sheets, or PDF, you'll need to open the CSV in those tools afterward if needed.
